Next Meeting

Join us at the next parent council meeting on Wednesday May 29 at 3:30pm in the library. Come out and meet our local TDSB Trustee Dan MacLean and hear more about the new redevelopment plans that are in the works for our school playground. As this will be the last meeting of the year we will also be doing some preliminary planning for the fall, I know that’s hard to think about as we have barely seen spring at this point 😊

Its early days but we have a new place on the web to keep our community up to date! Come check us out and bookmark it as we will be updating the site over the coming weeks.

Dance-a-thon

Just a reminder that the annual dance-a-thon has been moved to this coming Friday May 3^rd!  Thank you to those who have already generously submitted donations and as always, we will continue to accept them right up to the day of the event!

Proceeds last year helped to fund class trips, visits from Scientists in School, and the purchase of new rain day activities in each classroom. This year we are aiming to fund more visits and other events for the students, but we have an additional item to think about, the playground redevelopment that is now in the plans.

Parent Council has decided that we will maintain the events we always have but if we raise a bit more than other years, we will be able to put some funds towards the playground project as well! Your support this year is so much appreciated! We will let you know more about the playground plans in the weeks to come.

Fit Night

The first Eatonville Fit Night will take place on the evening of Wednesday June 5.

 More information will come soon but as June tends to get busy, mark your calendars now because you will not want to miss out! Alternatively, keep up with the website as we will post updates there too!

Spring Cleaning ????

If you have thought about doing some spring cleaning around your home, please consider donating to Eatonville any balls, skipping ropes, or hula hoops that your family may no longer want. With better weather our recess carts get a lot of use and some extra equipment would be wonderful for the kids! If you have questions, please contact the school office.

Welcome to our new home online .....

The Eatonville Junior School Parent Council now has our own spot on the web! Many people don't know a lot about what we do other than host the Dance-A- Thon every year! But now you will be able to find out about everything we are doing and how everyone in our Eatonville family can take part!

If you have not yet come out to one of our monthly meetings, please feel free to attend any that are convenient to you. If you are unable to come out but want your voice heard, we want to still hear it! You can connect with us anytime via email at eatonvilleparents@gmail.com

If you are a parent or a guardian of a Eatonville student you need to keep up on what is going on and we want this space to be your new go-to! 

SO many notes get lost at the bottom of backpacks and so we want to help you find the info all in one place, this site will keep you in the know (maybe even more than the kids)!

We are building our community and it takes time just like a website, which as you can see is still in the building stage. But please bookmark this site or follow it so that you can keep up-to-date on what we are doing and then when your kids say nothing is new at school, you can correct them!
